Article Types
JAMMO accepts the following categories of manuscripts:
Regular Articles
Regular Articles present original, carefully conducted research and must provide sufficient methodological detail to allow scholarly scrutiny, verification, and replication. Manuscripts should be written clearly and concisely, with length determined by scholarly necessity rather than rigid limits.
Indicative length: 6,000–8,000 words (including references).
Short Communications
Short Communications report complete but smaller-scale studies, innovative methods, conceptual models, or emerging hypotheses. These submissions allow greater structural flexibility and are typically shorter than full research articles.
Indicative length: 2,500–4,000 words (including references).
Review Articles
Review Articles and scholarly perspectives addressing current or emerging topics within the journal’s scope are welcome. Reviews should be analytically rigorous, critically engaged, and offer clear conceptual or methodological contributions. All review articles are subject to full peer review.
Indicative length: 5,000–7,500 words (including references).
Manuscripts exceeding these ranges may be considered where clear scholarly justification is provided.
Manuscript Structure (APA 7th Edition)
Manuscripts should generally include the following components:
Title Page (submitted separately):
- Title, full author names, institutional affiliations, ORCID iDs (where available), and corresponding author contact details.
Abstract:
150–250 words (100 words for Short Communications). Abstracts should be self-contained, written in clear academic prose, and avoid unexplained abbreviations.
Keywords:
4–6 keywords immediately following the abstract.
Main Text:
Introduction, Methods (or Methodology), Results/Findings, Discussion, and Conclusion (where appropriate). Results and Discussion may be combined when methodologically justified.
Acknowledgements (if applicable)

- numbered consecutively,
- provided with a clear title,
- referenced in the text.
- Tables should be created in Microsoft Word.
- Figures should be high-resolution (TIFF, JPEG, PNG) and embedded in the manuscript.
- Data should not be duplicated across tables, figures, and text.

The journal aims to:
- provide initial review feedback within 4–6 weeks, and
- publish accepted manuscripts within approximately six months, subject to revision timelines.
Proofs and Publication
Electronic proofs (PDF) will be sent to the corresponding author for final checking. Only minor typographical or factual corrections may be made at this stage.
JAMMO is published open access. Authors receive free online access to the final HTML and PDF versions of their articles and may download and share them in accordance with the journal’s open-access policy.
Copyright and Originality
Submission of a manuscript implies that:
- the work is original and has not been published elsewhere,
- it is not under consideration by another journal,
- all authors have approved the submission,
- ethical and legal requirements have been met.
